Chandler cars, produced from 1913 to 1929, were known for their quality.
Founded by Frederick Chandler, formerly of Lozier, the company aimed to offer reliable cars at a reasonable price.
A lesser-known fact: Chandler's "Traffic Transmission," introduced in 1927, allowed drivers to shift gears faster. This was achieved through a unique design. It was a precursor to modern synchromesh transmissions.
