Bricklin was the brainchild of Malcolm Bricklin, an American entrepreneur.
The Bricklin SV-1 was a sports car manufactured in Canada from 1974 to 1975.
Its gullwing doors and composite body panels were innovative but problematic.
The company faced quality control issues and financial difficulties.
Production ceased after fewer than 3,000 cars were made.
Did you know that Bricklin tried to sell a safety car to the US military?
It was a modified Subaru, but the deal never materialized.
