Biscuter, a Spanish microcar, emerged post-WWII, fueled by economic hardship.
The Autonacional S.A. company produced it from 1953 to 1960.
Its creator, Gabriel Voisin, designed it simply and affordably.
The name "Biscuter" cleverly combines "bis" (twice) and "scooter."
A quirky tale: Biscuters were initially sold without doors. Owners had to customize them.
