Every Model
Berkeley Cars, a British car manufacturer, operated from 1956 to 1960. Founded by Laurie Bond and Charles Panter, Berkeley specialized in microcars with motorcycle engines.
A lesser-known tale involves their ambitious, but ultimately unsuccessful, foray into the American market. Berkeley attempted to partner with a US firm to produce and sell cars stateside. Prototypes were even made, but the deal collapsed, leaving the "Bandit" model stillborn and adding to Berkeley's financial woes.
