Every Model
The Auto Red Bug, a quirky electric car, emerged in 1916.
Originally designed by Robert Radcliffe, it was intended as a vehicle for personal transportation.
The Red Bug was manufactured by the Automotive Electric Service Corporation.
It gained popularity as a recreational vehicle, particularly at resorts and amusement parks.
One interesting tidbit: Clara Ford, Henry Ford's wife, owned and drove a Red Bug around their estate.
