ALLARD

Allard, a British car manufacturer, was founded in 1945 by Sydney Allard.

Allard cars were known for their use of powerful American engines in a lightweight British chassis.

Sydney Allard was a successful rally driver and used his experience to build cars that were both fast and reliable.

One lesser-known story is that Allard supplied cars to the British police force in the 1950s. These cars were specially modified for high-speed pursuits and were used to catch criminals on the newly built motorways.
