Saab was a Swedish automaker founded in 1945 as an aircraft manufacturer. They began making cars in 1949 and became known for their unique designs, innovative safety features, and turbocharged engines. After financial difficulties, Saab was sold to General Motors in 2000 and later to Spyker in 2010. Production ended in 2011.
