Unveiled at the 1974 Geneva Motor Show, the Jensen Interceptor Convertible was built on the same tubular chassis as its fixed-head counterpart and represented the pinnacle of the West Bromwich manufacturer’s ambitions at the time
Powered by a formidable 7.2-litre Chrysler V8 engine paired with a TorqueFlite automatic transmission, the Convertible could sprint from 0-60mph in just 7.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 126mph.

Based on the Interceptor III, only 267 Convertibles were ever produced, with the majority destined for export markets
Originally built in 1974, returned from California in 1989, subsequently converted to right-hand drive and re-registered in the UK in February 1990
Finished in Brienz Blue, complemented by delicate silver and red coachlines over black leather with distinctive sheepskin seat inserts, offering a unique blend of luxury and period charm
The odometer shows just under 25,000 miles with automatic gearbox and torque converter being replaced in recent years ...
