The 250 SL ‘Pagoda’ was the rarest of the W113 series, produced for just one year between late 1966 and early 1968.

Introduced at the Geneva Salon, it bridged the gap between the 230 SL and the later 280 SL, combining the crisp, elegant Paul Bracq styling with improved performance and handling.

Powered by a 2,496cc straight-six with a seven-bearing crankshaft, the 250 SL offered smoother power delivery and greater torque than its predecessor, while retaining the balanced chassis and light, precise controls that made these cars such superb long distance tourers.

Power-assisted disc brakes all round and recirculating ball steering made for relaxed yet confident progress, whether cruising through the city or sweeping along continental roads.
Finished in Signal Red with a contrasting black interior, this beautifully presented right-hand drive example features automatic transmission and both hard and soft tops.
