Quite possibly the most flamboyant of Lancia's offerings from the eighties, the Thema 8.32 was ushered in as a replacement to the worthy but somewhat less exotic V6 model.
Launched in 1988, the newcomer came with a somewhat more exciting Ferrari 32-valve V8 (think 308/Mondial) engine, mounted transversely beneath the bonnet.
The engine’s block was cast by Ferrari in Maranello, assembled by Ducati, then sent to Lancia’s Turin facility for final fitting.
With a healthy 215bhp on tap, the 8.32 could give more established rivals a run for their money.
