One of the last of the Mk4 Escorts
1986 saw a wholesale facelift of the Escort range to create the Mk4.
The more refined styling of the Mk4 XR3i was mirrored in a more civilised and comfortable drive.
The convertible Escorts were assembled by Karmann and hugely popular in XR3i form.
Remaining a cult classic, this example is finished in Radiant Red with grey cloth upholstery, this example was initially supplied by Radmore’s of Tavistock and registered in 1990, making it one of the last of the Mk4 Escorts.
This is a nice example that comes with a stamped service book, showing 9 service stamps from Ford dealerships (1991-2001).
