The cabriolet version of Alfa Romeo’s beloved Giulia Sprint GT, the GTC was only produced from 1964-1966, with just under 1,000 examples produced.
Amongst those cars, GTCs produced for RHD markets were only built in 1965 and 1966, with only 99 examples produced in total.
Moving forward a year or two, a short-lived but nonetheless popular model, the 1750GTV was launched.
Drivers’ cars par excellence in the Alfa Romeo tradition, Bertone’s timelessly elegant Giulia coupés are among the most exciting sports saloons of the 1960s, and today all versions are highly sought after.
Notably, all factory GTCs started life as a regular two-door GT models, modified to convertible specification when new.
Originally a late 1970 1750 GTV, the Alfa-Romeo was converted by its mechanic owner to a GTC model in the late 90s.
