At the 1937 Paris Motor Show, Renault introduced two new models: the new entry-level Juvaquatre 6CV, and the Novaquatre, an economy version of the Primaquatre, with the latter model’s 2.4-litre engine, slightly downrated to 48bhp.

In 1939, it gained a slightly longer body and front quarterlights, while the vertical bars on the radiator grille were replaced by horizontal ones.
 
This Novaquatre saloon was supplied new in February 1939 to a M.

Malizy.

It joined the collection in its current condition after being discovered by a Renault dealer in Anderlecht in 1993.

It had evidently had some incomplete restoration work carried out on it, and some parts are missing.

With red paintwork, it has brown leatherette upholstery with light beige door cards and headlining.
