This 1966 Jaguar S-Type is a right-hand-drive model that was imported from Germany to the US in 1980 and reportedly underwent a cosmetic refurbishment a decade ago. The work is said to have included a repaint in Carmine Red as well as the installation of replacement tan leather seat upholstery, carpets, and a headliner. Power is from a 3.8-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The selling dealer acquired the car last year and has since replaced the wheels and tires. This S-Type is now offered with factory literature, service records, a handwritten maintenance log, JCNA judging sheets, and a clean Oklahoma title. The exterior is said to have been refinished in Carmine Red approximately 10 years ago and features chrome bumpers, integrated driving lights, and a Jaguar “Leaper” hood ornament. Chips and scratches are noted on various body panels. Replacement 15″ chrome Dunlop wire wheels and Arizonian tires were reportedly installed by the selling dealer. A brass tool for removing the knock-off wheels is included in the sale. The right-hand-drive interior features reupholstered tan leather seats as well as a replacement headliner and carpets. Equipment includes a stereo connected to footwell-mounted speakers, fold-down center armrests, and chrome hardware. A two-spoke steering wheel with a horn ring fronts a wood dash that houses a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline, a 140-mph speedometer, and an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 55k miles with true mileage unknown. The oil pressure gauge is currently inoperable. The 3.8-liter inline-six features dual SU carburetors and is paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The car was reportedly serviced by the selling dealer. The sale includes factory literature, service records dating to the 1970s, a handwritten maintenance log, a bill of lading from 1980, and JCNA judging score sheets from 2006, 2008, and 2009 as shown in the gallery.
