The Jaguar S-Type debuted at the 1998 Birmingham Motor Show and was marketed between 1999 and 2008, reviving the name of the company's 1963-66 S-Type. Early S-Types were produced between 1999 and 2002 are distinguished by a U-shaped centre console.
