This International Harvester Scout II was built on February 19, 1975 and delivered new to Berg Motors in Junction, City, Oregon. The truck was repainted in blue under previous ownership and features a black vinyl soft top, a white hard top, and a black interior. Modifications include aftermarket bumpers, a winch, and 33″ tires. Power comes from a numbers-matching 304ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. This Scout II was acquired by the seller in October 2016 and is sold with a copy of its build sheet, replacement sheet metal, and transferrable Alabama registration. Originally yellow, the truck was repainted in its current blue under previous ownership. A black soft top with tinted plastic windows is provided in the sale, as is the aged white hard top shown in the gallery below. Replacement rails are included for future replacement of rusty sheet metal where the top mounts to the body. Powder coated aftermarket bumpers are fitted with blue recovery shackles. A 12,000-pound winch sits on the front bumper, while a receiver hitch is incorporate into the rear. The seller notes that the tailgate latch needs to be adjusted. Black 15″ Mickey Thompson wheels are mounted with 33″ Baja Claw TTC tires showing 2017 date codes. The truck rides on a 4″ Rough Country lift and the rear brakes have been converted from factory drums to discs. The interior features blue and black upholstery on the front bucket and rear bench seats as well as a locking center console. The condition of the floors beneath the black carpet is shown in the gallery. The steel dashboard is painted blue to match the body, and a Grant steering wheel has been installed. An aluminum panel holds LSSPro gauges including a six-digit odometer that shows approximately 120 miles. Total mileage is unknown. A JVC stereo has been installed, and a subwoofer is mounted in the cargo area. The seller notes that the horn does not function and that the driver-side window needs help to be raised. The numbers-matching 304ci V8 is shown running in a and drives the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The transmission was reportedly rebuilt less than 500 miles ago, though supporting records are unavailable. A coolant flush was performed in April 2019. The fuel tank is reported to leak when filled to the brim. The condition of the frame and drivetrain is further shown in the gallery. A copy of the factory build sheet shows that the truck was delivered to Junction City, Oregon, in 1975. The sale includes an Oregon title from the previous owner as well as transferrable Alabama resignation, as the state does not issue titles for vehicles over 35 years old.
