This 2016 Ginetta G57 race car is finished in bare carbon fiber with a #55 livery and is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 paired with a paddle-shifted six-speed sequential gearbox. The car features a carbon fiber monocoque and was developed by Ginetta for competition in supercar and sport car racing series such as the Creventic Prototype Series, the Dutch Supercar Challenge series, and the Britcar Prototype Series. This example competed in Formula & Automobile Racing Association events in Florida, reportedly winning the 2016 FARA Homestead 500 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Equipment includes a MoTeC M150 ECU, a MoTeC power distribution module, 18×13″ Braid wheels, a MEGA-Line electronic paddle shifter system with automatic throttle blip, slotted brake rotors with Alcon calipers, a MoTeC C125 dash display and data logger, an adjustable steering column, and air conditioning. This G57 is now offered in Florida with a FARA logbook and a bill of sale. The G57 features carbon fiber monocoque construction, a carbon fiber crash structure, and carbon fiber body panels. This example wears bare carbon fiber bodywork with a #55 livery and features vortex generators on the front splitter, a fixed dual-element rear wing, a vertical stabilizer over the rear engine cover, and round LED taillights. 18×13″ Braid forged aluminum wheels are wrapped in Hankook Ventus racing slicks measuring 300/660 up front and 320/710 out back. Braking is handled by slotted and ventilated rotors paired with Alcon calipers, and front-to-rear brake bias can be adjusted via a control knob on the dash. The chassis features double wishbones with a common upright front and rear, adjustable Ohlins TTX coil-over dampers, adjustable electronic power steering, adjustable traction control, and a multi-setting anti-lock braking system. The fixed-back racing seat is covered in black tape and fitted with a Schroth Racing harness. Equipment includes air conditioning, a rear-view camera, a steel roll cage, and an adjustable steering column. The multi-function quick-release steering wheel fronts MEGA-Line electronic paddle shifters and a MoTeC C125 digital dash display with integrated data-logging function and configurable displays for vehicle speed, engine speed, and engine and transmission statistics. The selling dealer states that the car has covered approximately 6k miles. The 6.2-liter V8 is topped with a FAST LSXR 102mm intake manifold, and according to the builder produces 525 horsepower. Additional equipment includes a MoTeC PDM30 power distribution module, a MoTeC M150 engine management system, and custom tubular exhaust headers feeding into mufflers and twin exhaust tips in front of each wheel. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an Xtrac P1152 six-speed sequential transaxle controlled by a MEGA-Line electronic paddle shift system with automatic throttle blip.
