This 1967 Ford Mustang coupe was acquired by the seller in North Carolina in 2007 and subsequently modified with a supercharged 347ci V8 paired backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. The car is finished in red with a black vinyl top over black upholstery, and additional equipment consists of aftermarket fuel injection, a 15-gallon fuel cell, 17″ aluminum wheels, four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes, Borgeson power steering, a Strange Engineering rear end, a fabricated dual exhaust system, Procar front bucket seats with ProQuip four-point harnesses, replacement digital instrumentation, and a partial roll cage. This modified Mustang is offered with build invoices, spare parts, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name. The car was refinished in red with a black vinyl top under previous ownership. Exterior features include black rocker panel decals, side scoops, fog lights, GTA front fender badges, a vented hood, and chrome trim. The paint on the top rear portion of the driver’s front fender is lifting and is showing signs of cracking, and the windshield cowl leaks. The floor pan was reportedly patched under previous ownership, and the seller states the passenger door and window alignment needs adjustment and that the car will need paint and body work in the near future. Replacement door sills and weather seals are included in the sale. Vintage Wheel Works 17″ aluminum wheels with polished rims wear 245/45 Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS tires. Four-wheel disc brakes with an electric booster, Borgeson power steering, and Control Freak coilover front suspension have been installed under current ownership. The seller notes that the suspension leans to the left side. The interior features replacement Procar front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with four-point RaceQuip harnesses. A black dashboard, replacement door panels, and matching carpets finish the cabin, and modifications include a partial roll cage, a fire extinguisher, a B&M shifter, a center console with storage, and black rubber Mustang floor mats. The heater core has reportedly been replaced, as have the window cranks and the dash pad. The rear speaker in the trunk is said to work intermittently. An aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel fronts replacement Dakota digital instrumentation including a speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for voltage, fuel level, oil pressure, and air/fuel mixture. The digital odometer shows 6k miles, and total mileage is unknown. Under current ownership, a Dart Sportsman-based 347ci V8 with a Paxton Novi 1500 supercharger was installed. Equipment used in the build is said to have included Diamond 9:1 compression ratio pistons, Total Seal piston rings, H-beam connecting rods, a Comp camshaft, AFR ported heads with Cometic gaskets, Edelbrock valve covers, ARP bolts, a Sniper blow-through EFI system with a hand-held tuner, MSD electronic ignition, an Edelbrock Victor Jr. air intake, a Canton Racing oil pan, urethane engine and transmission mounts, a Griffin aluminum radiator, an electronic fuel pump control, an Aeromotive fuel system including an A1000 pump and a fuel cell, and a fabricated dual exhaust system. The seller states the nitrous bottle mounted in the trunk is for cosmetic purposes and has not been connected to the engine, and that there is an oil drip at the rear crankshaft seal. Smaller supercharger pulleys and belts are included in the sale, and a dyno sheet is presented in the gallery. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a rebuilt AOD-E four-speed automatic transmission with a Quick 1 transmission control, a 4″ aluminum one-piece driveshaft with a safety loop, and a Strange Engineering differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below. Invoices and build sheets from current ownership are included in the sale.
