ODOMETER
1930 Ford Model A

This Model A has been restored and is very nicely presented in dark green with black fenders, straw-toned wire wheels and a naturally finished wood body from the cowl back. The huckster is driven by a 200.5-cid, 40-hp inline four-cylinder engine and its three-speed manual transmission. The doors have period-type signage for “Harshfield Bro. Fruits and Vegatables” and there are also glass windows. The wood roofline carries over the tilt-out windshield and creates a sunvisor effect. The roof has an attractive interior appearance in that you can see the finished slats and stringers that create the roofline. A large rectangular rear cabin window allows a very clear line of sight. The radiator shell is plated and accented with a grille guard and radiator mascot. The running boards have the optional Ford step plates, the car has lovely and tasteful pinstripes, while the rear tailgate has a flat panel design. Known in period as providing high quality at a reasonable price; now you notice the beauty – so apparent in line and color.
