This 1928 Ford Model A has been channeled and chopped and is powered by a 364ci Buick Nailhead V8 paired with a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. It is finished in satin black over matching upholstery and features 15″ Billet Specialties wheels, a windshield visor, custom pinstriping, a Pioneer stereo, triple carburetors, lake pipes, an Offenhauser intake manifold and valve covers, a Moon fuel tank, and a 10-bolt rear axle with a 3.73:1 gear set. The seller acquired the car in 2010 and it is now offered with a clean Texas title. The body has been chopped and channeled and is finished in satin black. Features include an exposed engine bay, custom pinstriping, Pee Wee’s Speed & Custom painted door graphics, a windshield visor, a driver’s side mirror, brass headlight housings, a devil’s head hood ornament and taillight lenses. A 12-gallon rear fuel tank is fitted, and an auxiliary Moon fuel tank is installed up front. The windows are said to have been replaced during the build. Polished Billet Specialties wheels measure 15×6″ up front and 15×10″ out back and are mounted with Michelin front and BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial rear tires. Stopping power is provided by Buick-style finned aluminum drum brakes at the front. The cabin is trimmed in black vinyl with silver details. Sound insulation is said to have been installed during the build, and additional features include lap belts, a center console, a white finished dashboard, a tall shifter with a devil’s head shift knob, and a Pioneer CD player and MTX speakers mounted in the rear cargo area. The leather-wrapped steering wheel sits on a billet column with an aftermarket signal stalk and fronts Stewart Warner instrumentation consisting of a “Police Special” speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 99k miles, approximately 500 of which were added during current ownership. True mileage is unknown. The Buick-sourced 364ci Nailhead V8 features triple two-barrel carburetors, lake pipes, an Offenhauser intake manifold and valve covers, and a Felco finned aluminum valley pan. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a GM-sourced TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt positrac rear axle running a 3.73:1 gear set.
