This 1969 Ford Bronco is finished in red with a removable white hardtop and powered by a replacement 351ci Windsor V8 paired with a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes white 15″ steel wheels, Bronco Sport trim, manually-locking front hubs, a swing-away rear tire carrier, an auxiliary fuel tank, an Edelbrock intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, an MSD distributor, tubular headers, a custom dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers, an aluminum radiator, and power steering. The truck was acquired by the seller in autumn 2020, and service under current ownership has consisted of adjusting the carburetor and replacing the auxiliary fuel tank down tube. This Bronco is offered with recent service records and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The truck was originally finished in Candyapple Red (T) and was reportedly repainted under previous ownership. Highlights include a removable white hardtop, an auxiliary fuel tank, a swing-away rear tire carrier, chrome-finished bumpers, side mirrors, and trim, enlarged wheel openings with white fender flares, and “351” badging on each fender. The seller states that corrosion is present on the inner rocker panels and toward the rear of both doors. The removable hardtop is said to have been touched up along with the passenger-side fender. White 15″ steel wheels wear 33″x12.5″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires. Braking is handled by dual circuit four-wheel drums. The shocks and steering damper are said to have been replaced and finished in white. Additional equipment includes manually-locking front hubs. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Parchment Rosette vinyl joined by matching door panels and black carpets. Equipment includes power steering, manual side windows, front lap belts, wind wings, a heater, floor mats, and an AM radio. The seller states that the heater is disconnected, and the radio does not work. The door panels are separating, and the upholstery on the driver’s seat is splitting. The vacuum-operated windshield wiper system is not connected. The white steel dashboard houses a 100-mph speedometer with inset gauges measuring oil pressure, coolant temperature, alternator output, and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer indicates 28k miles, less than 500 of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown. The coolant temperature gauge does not work, and the fuel level gauge works intermittently. The replacement 351ci Windsor V8 is said to have been rebuilt during previous ownership. Features include a four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, an MSD distributor, an aluminum radiator, tubular headers, and a custom dual exhaust that exits before the rear axle. An October 2020 service reportedly consisted of a carburetor adjustment and replacement of the auxiliary fuel tank down tube. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. Looseness is noted in the gear shift mechanism, and additional images showing the underside are included in the gallery below. Decoding the data plate provides the following manufacturing information: A walk-around video is provided above that includes a tour of the engine compartment, as well as an in-car driving demonstration below.
