1969 Fiat 500 L

Introduced in September 1968, the 500 L was a slightly more refined variant of the successful 500 F. Costing 50.000 lire more than the base model, the L offered more comfortable skai-trimmed seats, a new full-metal twin-spoke steering wheel, and a new instrument cluster, which marked the end of the ‘minimalistic’ 500. Its distinctive chrome-bumper guards set the L apart from the legions of other 500s driving on the road every day. This 500 L has been extensively restored, and it is highly original in every detail, retaining the aforementioned correct black skai interior, carpeting, and bumper guards. A Portuguese registration in the file shows a first registration date of May 1969, implying that it has been in Portugal from new. With its iconic presence and fantastic usability, this 500 L is still a charming and iconic automobile and contemporary icon. Introduzido em setembro de 1968, o 500 L era uma variante ligeiramente mais refinada do bem-sucedido 500 F. Custava mais 50.000 liras do que o modelo básico, o L e oferecia assentos mais confortáveis em imitação de pele ‘skai’, um novo volante de metal de dois raios e um painel de instrumentos renovado, que marcou o fim do 'minimalista' 500. As suas características proteções cromadas nos para-choques marcam a diferença do L em relação aos outros 500 que se encontram na estrada todos os dias. Este 500 L foi cuidadosamente restaurado, e está muito original em todos os detalhes, mantendo o interior em skai negro acima mencionado, tapetes e proteções de para-choques corretas. A matrícula portuguesa mostra a primeira data de registo em maio de 1969, indicando que está em Portugal desde novo. Com a sua fantástica usabilidade e presença, este 500 L ainda é um automóvel utilizável, charmoso e icónico.
