This 1998 Ferrari F355 Spider is powered by a mid-mounted 3.5-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Argento Nurburgring Metallic over black leather. The car was previously sold in and was subsequently acquired by the selling dealer in 2020. Equipment includes a replacement burgundy soft top, power accessories, a factory adjustable suspension, a Tubi exhaust, and a Pioneer stereo. An engine-out service in August 2018 included installation of a new clutch, timing belt, and water pump along with a refurbished catalytic converter, and the water pump was replaced again in 2020. This F355 Spider shows 31k miles and is now offered in Florida with a Carfax report and a clean Illinois title. The car is finished in Argento Nurburgring Metallic with a burgundy soft top that the seller reports was installed in preparation for sale. Additional features include pop-up headlights, fog lights, a vented decklid, and quad exhaust outlets. The Carfax report shows an accident was reported in July 2020 in which the “vehicle was not damaged.” A paint correction procedure was reportedly performed and a ceramic coating was applied. Paint meter readings can be seen in the gallery below. Factory 18 wheels have been refinished and wear a mixed set of Bridgestone and Pirelli tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs with Ferrari-branded calipers in front, and the selling dealer reports a faulty actuator on the right rear strut and a leak in the power steering pressure hose. The cabin is trimmed in black leather and the lower dashboard and lower door panel trim was reupholstered with red leather. Features include a gated shifter, a Pioneer stereo, air conditioning, central locking, and power accessories. The air conditioning system is said to have been recharged in 2021 and the climate-control panel has been replaced. A leather-trimmed steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. Additional instrumentation in the center stack includes an analog clock and gauges for fuel level and oil temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 31k miles. The mid-mounted 3.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 375 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. An August 2018 engine-out service included replacement of the timing and accessory belts as well as a new cam belt bearing, new seals, a remanufactured catalytic converter, and replacement of the clutch. The water pump was replaced in 2020, and the parking brake switch was adjusted and the fuel flap actuator was repaired in 2021. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle, and a Tubi exhaust was fitted during prior ownership. Additional underside photos can be seen in the gallery below.
