This 1999 Ferrari 355 F1 GTS is finished in Giallo Fly Yellow over black leather, and the seller has owned the car since 2006 and added approximately 19k of its 34k indicated miles. Power is supplied by a mid-mounted 3.5-liter 40-valve V8 paired with a six-speed F1 automated manual transmission with shift paddles. Modifications include Fabspeed Motorsport headers, Tubi exhaust, and a touchscreen Kenwood stereo. An engine-out belt service was done in 2012 at 25k miles, and diagnostic work was carried out in spring 2021. This F355 is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records from current ownership, a tool kit, a car cover, the removed headers, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Mexico title in the seller’s name. The 355’s final model year was 1999, and the GTS version features a lift-off targa roof panel. This car is finished in Giallo Fly Yellow, and the front bumper panel was repainted in August 2012, the receipt for which can be seen in the photo gallery below. The right pop-up headlight motor was replaced in 2008, and the headlights are depicted in their raised and lowered positions. The windshield was replaced in July 2019. Factory 18″ wheels wear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires bearing 2012 date codes. Red brake calipers are located at each corner. The black leather interior shows wear on the driver’s seatback bolster and on the steering-wheel rim. The A/C compressor was replaced in June 2014. A Kenwood Excelon DDX7015 head unit has been installed, and a leather-covered blanking plate is fitted in the factory stereo location. The leather covering on the dash and the instrument binnacle is pulling away under the windshield. Shift paddles are affixed to the steering column, and instrumentation includes a 200-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 34k miles, approximately 19k of which have been added by the seller. The F129C 3.5-liter quad-cam V8 features a flat-plane crankshaft and five valves per cylinder, and it was rated at 375 horsepower at 8,250 rpm when new. The most recent engine-out belt service was performed in May 2012 at 25k miles at Ferrari of Denver in Colorado. The starter was rebuilt and two oxygen sensors were replaced in March 2019. An inspection, an oil change, and installation of Fabspeed Motorsports exhaust headers were conducted in November 2020 at Lusso Motorsports Group of Scottsdale, Arizona. A diagnostic test to address a check-engine light was executed in May 2021, and the battery was replaced in September 2021. A paddle-shifted F1 single-clutch automated manual transmission directs power to the rear wheels. A Tubi exhaust system was fitted in 2006. Manufacturer’s literature, a tool kit, and the removed headers are included in the sale and pictured in the gallery along with pages of records dating back to 2006. The Carfax report shows two owners and no accidents or body damage. Activity is chronicled in Oregon, Washington, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado beginning in 1998.
