Chassis: ZFFPR41A1S0103872. 27k miles. 3.5l V8/6-Speed Manual. Nurburgring Silver over Black leather. Major Cambelt Service June 2016. Clean Carfax. Private Party or Dealer: Dealer
This 1995 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta has 27k miles from new and features a dry-sump 3.5L V8 and 6-speed manual gearbox. The car had its last major cambelt service in June of this year and service records show history of major and minor services over the years. Much of the Nurburgring Silver paint is original as confirmed by a paint thickness gauge, with some past paintwork on the front end. This car uses the F355’s original dual-MAF, dual-airbox intake with OBD1 engine management, which is believed to produce slightly more power than the later single-MAF setup. The sale includes all books and tools along with partial service records from new, including the invoice for the recent major service, a clean Carfax and a clean MA title. The car is currently consigned to the selling dealer, BaT regular switchcars. The F355 Berlinetta features a striking Pininfarina design that was a departure from the outgoing 348 model. Exterior door handles are concealed under the swooping bodywork. The F355 was also available in a Spider or GTS targa bodystyle. The seller has provided paint meter readings from around the body all viewable below. Per the seller the car has been repainted on the front trunk and upper front fenders, and the headlights and trim strip above the front bumper appear to be original finish. The current owner had the rocker panels and lower doors refinished to address a few chips. Those panels are fiberglass and do not show readings on the meter. The Connolly leather interior is stock apart from a period Alpine headunit. The leather wrapped dash is taut thanks to a recent re-tensioning and conditioning of the material during the car’s last service. The black leather upholstery has not been redyed, and shows only light wear overall. The carpets are in similarly good condition under Ferrari-branded mats. The seller says buttons and switches operate well without stickiness. The dry-sump light-alloy 3.5L V8 is paired to a six-speed manual transverse gearbox and limited slip differential. In addition to the recent major service, the previous owner had the shocks rebuilt and a sticky emergency brake addressed. The car is equipped with a Tubi exhaust. Here is the invoice for the recent major service performed in June 2016. A compression test was performed as part of the service, and compression numbers are as follows: There are partial records from the period 1997-2001 and again from 2011-2016. A 15k mile service was done in April 1997 at 15k miles and a previous major service was done at Ron Tonkin Ferrari in September 2011 at 26,200 miles. Current mileage is 27,600. The underside of the car is in generally good condition, with some light scuffing apparent on the undertray panels. The original toolkit and a Ferrari car cover are included along with books and 2 sets of keys. According to the Carfax the car stayed on the West Coast until 2013 when it had 27k miles. No issues are noted and apart from the service booklet, which is stamped through 15k, all of the service records the seller has are shown below.
