This 1982 Ferrari 308GTSi shows under 27k miles and was first delivered to The Collection in Coral Gables, Florida before being moved to New York, Pennsylvania, and Louisiana. The seller is located in Texas and acquired the car in 2009, after which he had the fuel-injected 2.9L V8 rebuilt to Ferrari Classiche specifications by Boardwalk Ferrari in Plano, Texas. In addition, the electrical system was sorted, the A/C system was converted to R134a, a new radiator was installed, the brakes were refreshed, and the tires were replaced. Included service records for the work total over $53k, and the seller has driven the car approximately 5k miles during his ownership. This Ferrari is sold with a clean Texas title in the seller’s name. The Rosso Corsa (300) paint is believed to be original, and the car is said to have no history of any accidents or paintwork. The seller had the car professionally detailed after purchase, and the finish still appears glossy in photos. Scuderia Ferrari shield decals have been added to the front fenders. Records show that the calipers were rebuilt, the rear pads replaced, the brake fluid flushed, and the rear sway bar bushings replaced less than 3k miles ago. The car is fitted with 16″ reproduction alloys that wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires with a DOT code from March 2009. Inside, the tan leather upholstery is in good shape overall, with some wear apparent on the seats. The switches and knobs on the center console are intact, though the paint on the A/C switch plate is scratched and the enamel logo on the cap of the shift knob is starting to fade. The oil pressure gauge and clock were moved from the dash to the center console on the GTSi model, and a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel was standard. All of the gauges are said to function properly, and an aftermarket Pioneer head unit has been installed. The odometer shows 26,740 miles and is believed accurate. The 2.9L DOHC V8 utilizes Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and sends power to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine was rebuilt in May 2009 by Boardwalk Ferrari as a part of their Ferrari Classiche program. Work included repairs to the electrical system, new driver-side power window regulator, brake hoses, clean/repack the front wheel bearings, and more. The seller notes that there is occasionally evidence of higher engine temps on hot summer days in Ft. Worth. The seller has provided a collection of service records from Boardwalk Ferrari that detail the work done during the engine rebuild, along with additional maintenance performed through June 2010. A Texas safety inspection report also comes with the car, while a jack and toolkit can be seen in the rear cargo area.
