Chassis: WP29U1A143869. 67k Miles Shown, TMU. Four-Barrel 440ci V8. Four-Speed Manual Transmission. Repainted Red. Black Vinyl and Cloth. Concealed Headlamps. Hurst Pistol-Grip Shifter. Push-Button Radio. Private Party Or Dealer: Private Party
This 1971 Dodge Charger 440 SE was built on January 5, 1971 and reportedly remained with its original owner in California and Montana until his passing in 2019. The car has been repainted red and features a black vinyl and cloth interior with a front bench seat, a Hurst pistol-grip shifter, and a push-button AM radio. Power is supplied by a 440ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes concealed headlamps, aftermarket polished wheels, and chrome bumpers and trim. This Charger SE is offered by the seller on behalf of his father-in-law, the executor of the late owner’s estate. It is sold with a clean Montana title. Originally finished in Light Gunmetal Metallic (GA4) and equipped with a white vinyl roof, the car was repainted its current shade of red by the late owner. Exterior features include concealed headlamps, chrome window trim, and dual exhaust outlets. Aftermarket chrome wheels are wrapped with BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. A spare and jack are located in the trunk, and the factory wheel covers are included in the sale. The interior is trimmed in black and features cloth and vinyl bench seats along with woodgrain accents on the matching door panels and dashboard. Amenities include a push-button AM radio, a heater, lap belts, and a Hurst pistol-grip shifter. A three-spoke steering wheel frames factory instrumentation that includes a 150-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a five-digit odometer showing 67k miles. The 440ci V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 375 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The fender tag decodes as follows: A walk-around video with the engine running is shown above.
