This 1978 Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country reportedly had only two California owners prior to the seller’s recent purchase and now shows just 30,505 miles. Power comes from a factory-optional 360ci V8 paired to a 904 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic transmission. Other options include power windows, a power front seat, A/C, and factory “road wheels.” Since acquiring the car, the seller has mounted four new tires, completed a tune-up, equipped a new power steering hose, and installed new rear hatch struts. This Town & Country is now being offered by Cascadia Classic in Oregon with a clean California title. The seller is not aware of any prior paint or bodywork, and believes that the vehicle retains its factory Augusta Green paint, glass, chrome, upholstery, and weather-stripping. A windshield chip above the rear-view mirror is noted, and other cosmetics are well detailed in the extensive gallery below. This Town & Country features optional ‘road wheels’, and the seller recently mounted four new correct 1.25″ width whitewall tires. New front brake pads were fitted under the prior owner’s stewardship, and the large rear cargo area is also pictured in the gallery. Inside, the green vinyl upholstery is accented with wood trim on the door panels and dashboard. An optional power front seat, A/C, and power windows are equipped. The A/C reportedly blows cold and the seller states that all interior equipment works well aside from an inoperable trip odometer. Currently the five-digit odometer shows 30,505 miles which is believed correct based on the overall condition, however the seller was not provided with any documentation during his purchase. A split in the center of the dash pad is shown in the gallery. Under the hood is an optional 360ci V8 fitted with a four-barrel ThermoQuad carburetor. Cosmoline is still visible in the engine bay, and a new catalytic converter was installed by the previous owner. Additional undercarriage photos are displayed in the gallery.
