This 1928 Chevrolet is a one-ton stake bed truck that is finished in blue and black over black and powered by an inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a chrome grille and front bumper, stake bed, custom pinstriping, black-painted running boards and fenders, a windshield wiper, brake lamps, painted steel wheels, and four-wheel drums brakes. The vehicle was refurbished during previous ownership and was acquired by the seller in 2021. Subsequent work consisted of a carburetor rebuild, radiator repair, and an oil change. This truck is offered with a period tool kit and a clean Florida title in the name of the seller’s LLC. The truck was repainted in blue and black during previous ownership. Features include a chrome grille and front bumper, custom stained-wood stake bed, pinstriping, black-painted running boards and fenders, a windshield wiper, and brake lamps. The seller notes spider-cracking paint on the hood and scratches on the fenders. Painted 20″ wheels wear chrome trim rings and are mounted with 6.00×20″ tires. A full-size spare wheel and tire are mounted below the bed. The rear axle features single rear wheels, and braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. The seller notes that the front tires were installed in 2021. The cab features a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl joined by matching door panels. Features include a body-colored dashboard, column-mounted turn signal stalk, floor-mounted shifter, black carpeting, and crank windows. The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a center-mounted 80-mph speedometer and gauges for alcohol temperature, battery charge, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 103 miles, which are said to represent the mileage since the completion of the refurbishment. Total mileage is unknown. The straight-six breathes through a Carter carburetor. The seller notes that the carburetor was rebuilt and the radiator was repaired, and the oil was changed in 2021. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. A period tool kit is included in the sale. Stamping 779170 on the engine block matches the VIN listed on the title.
