This 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is an IMSA GTLM C8.R Championship Edition convertible that is finished in Accelerate Yellow Metallic over Sky Cool Gray and Strike Yellow upholstery. Power comes from a mid-mounted 6.2-liter V8 mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and an electronic limited-slip differential, and equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop, the Z51 Performance Package with Magnetic Selective Ride Control, 19″ and 20″ alloy wheels, Carbon Flash exterior accents, a performance data recorder, front and rear cameras, rear park assistance, a front-axle lift system, heated and ventilated seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, and a 14-speaker Bose audio system. The car was purchased from Elkland Chevrolet in Pennsylvania by the seller, and it now has 7 miles. This C8 Championship Edition convertible is now offered at no reserve with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, a decorative car cover, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name. The body is finished in Accelerate Yellow Metallic and accented by gray stripes, while the wing, rocker panels, side vents, and folding mirror housings are finished in Carbon Flash. A ‘Jake’ racing logo and the number 3 adorn the rear plate surround, and equipment includes a power-retractable hardtop with remote lowering, LED headlights, rear parking sensors, and quad exhaust outlets. The IMSA GTLM C8.R Championship Edition package includes five-trident-spoke wheels finished in black and measuring 19″ in diameter up front and 20″ out back, and they wear ‘Jake’ logo center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires. The car is also equipped with the Z51 Performance Package, which includes performance suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control and a performance braking system with yellow-finished calipers, as well as a performance traction-control system and a front-axle lift system. The cabin features heated, ventilated, and power-adjustable GT2 bucket seats trimmed in two-tone Sky Cool Gray upholstery with perforated leather seating surfaces and Strike Yellow accents. Additional amenities include a performance data recorder, front and rear cameras, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless open and start, remote starting, yellow stitching and seatbelts, and a premium infotainment system with navigation and a 14-speaker Bose audio system.
A plaque mounted between the seats indicates this example is the 57th of 1,000 C8.R Edition Corvettes that are planned for the 2022 model year to commemorate the success of the C8.R IMSA GTLM race cars. The heated steering wheel is trimmed in sueded microfiber and sits ahead of paddle shifters and a customizable display that includes a tachometer, speed readout, and additional data. The digital odometer indicates just 7 miles. The mid-mounted LT2 6.2-liter V8 is equipped with an optional performance exhaust system and a heavy-duty cooling system, and is factory rated at 495 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle with an optional electronic limited-slip differential and performance axle ratio. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery below. The window sticker lists colors and equipment along with a total vehicle price of $102,300. Manufacturer’s literature, a factory battery tender, and a decorative car cover are included in the sale. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Pennsylvania and New York.
