This 2001 BMW Z8 is powered by a 4.9-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and it is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over Sport Red and black Nappa leather. Features include a color-matched removable hardtop, a black soft top, 18” split-spoke wheels, xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, power-adjustable sport seats, a six-disc CD changer, a Harman Kardon sound system, and air conditioning. The current owner acquired the car in December 2008 and has since added approximately 8k of the car’s 48k indicated miles. This Z8 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with the owner’s manual, a hardtop stand, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the name of the owner’s LLC. The Z8 features bodywork designed by Henrik Fisker with inspiration from the BMW 507 roadster, and the aluminum body panels are mounted over an aluminum spaceframe. This example is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic (354) and features a color-matched removable hardtop, a black soft top, xenon headlights, fog lights, front fender air extractors with BMW roundels, and dual exhaust outlets. The hood struts were replaced in April 2019. Scrapes can be seen on the bottom of the front valance, and a gap is visible between the right headlight and the front bumper cover. Chrome-finished 18” split-spoke wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires. The four-wheel disc brake system is equipped with Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and additional features include Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and All-Season Traction (ASC). The steering rack boots were replaced in April 2019. The cabin features Sport Red and black Nappa leather upholstery that extends from the power-adjustable seats to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include a six-disc CD changer, a Harman Kardon sound system, leather-wrapped roll hoops, air conditioning, cruise control, and a turn-by-turn navigation system. The banjo-spoke steering wheel features silver trim within a leather-wrapped rim. Centrally mounted instrumentation includes a 155-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer with an integrated analog clock, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 48k miles. The 4.9-liter S62 V8 was shared with the contemporary E39 M5 and features double-VANOS variable valve timing for a factory-rated output of 394 horsepower and 368 lb-ft torque. The left valve-cover gasket, battery, and mass air flow sensors were replaced in April 2019. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in California and Arizona. The car is titled in Arizona but is not currently registered.
