This 2006 BMW M3 was first registered in Massachusetts and spent time in Michigan before being brought to California by the seller in 2013. Finished in Carbon Black Metallic over a black Nappa leather interior, the car shows just 61k miles and is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a six-speed SMG transmission and a limited-slip differential. Options include the ZCP Competition Package, the Cold Weather Package, heated power-adjustable seats, xenon headlights, Park Distance Control, and a sunroof. A KW V1 coilover suspension was installed by the seller, and additional work in the last year included replacing the tires, brake pads, and rotors. This E46 M3 is now offered with service records, factory literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The exterior is finished in Carbon Black Metallic (416), and options include a glass sunroof, xenon headlights with a washing system, fog lights, Park Distance Control, and rain-sensing wipers. The driver’s front fender was repainted by Gava’s Auto Body of San Bruno, California in 2014 due to a rock chip, and the seller installed smoked front corner lenses. Staggered-width 19″ BBS wheels wear Yokohama Advan Sport A/S tires that were mounted in October 2019 and measure 225/40 up front and 255/35 out back. KW V1 coilovers were reportedly installed in 2018, and the right tie rod assembly was replaced at this same time. The ZCP package included larger cross-drilled brakes compared to the standard M3, and new rotors, pads, sensors, and fluid were fitted in September 2019. The interior is trimmed in black leather with matching door panels and carpets along with milled-effect aluminum accents on the dash and center console. Amenities include an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with an M Track Mode button, automatic climate control, a Harman Kardon sound system, heated and power-adjustable seats, auto-dimming mirrors, and cruise control. A Tranzit Bluetooth kit has been added. Instrumentation includes a 185-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a variable redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 61k miles, approximately 16k of which were added by the seller. The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six features double-VANOS variable valve timing and was rated from the factory at 333 horsepower. Drive is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed SMG transmission and an M Variable Lock differential. The seller states that the chain tensioner gasket was replaced in March 2018 and the clutch master slave cylinder was replaced in January 2019. Factory literature, service records, and two keys are included in the sale. The Carfax report lists no accidents or other damage, shows at least one open recall, and displays registration history in Massachusetts, Michigan, and California through its most recent update in September 2019. Start-up videos can be viewed above, and driving clips are shown below.
