This 1998 BMW M3 coupe is finished in Boston Green Metallic over black Nappa leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 17″ Style 39 wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, manually adjustable front sport seats, and a digital cassette stereo. The car has spent its life in New Jersey, and it was acquired by the seller in July 2021. Subsequent service is said to have included replacing the tires. This E36 M3 coupe has 121k miles and is now offered at no reserve with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in Boston Green Metallic (275) and features fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, and aerodynamic bumpers, side sills, and mirrors. The seller reports that the rear bumper and front hood were repainted under previous ownership. The car was optioned without a sunroof. Staggered 17″ Style 39 wheels are wrapped in 225/45 front and 245/40 rear Hankook Ventus S1 Noble2 tires that were reportedly installed in preparation for the sale. The car is equipped with a sport-tuned suspension, a traction-control system, and four-wheel disc brakes. The cabin features manually adjustable ‘Vader’ sport seats upholstered in black Nappa leather along with matching door panels and carpets. Amenities include an on-board computer, a digital cassette stereo, dual-zone automatic climate control, embroidered floor mats, and power windows. The stereo volume-control knob is sticky. The replacement steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel economy, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 121k miles, approximately 600 of which were added under current ownership. The airbag light is illuminated, a brake-system warning light illuminates intermittently, and the odometer display is sometimes dim. The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Recent service includes an oil change. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photographs can be seen in the gallery below. The sale includes literature, service records, and a window sticker that lists a total price of $40,270. The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in New Jersey.
