This BMW Alpina B8 4.0 is #3 of approximately six examples produced and was delivered new to Nicole Racing Japan Co. LTD in Kawasaki, Japan. The car was imported to Canada by the seller in 2011 and was featured . It is powered by an Alpina-modified M60 4.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and is finished in BMW Individual Blue II Metallic with gold graphics over a Graphite fabric interior. Equipment includes front and rear spoilers, 17″ wheels, a sunroof, Bilstein shocks, and more. Now showing 65k kilometers (~40k miles), this Alpina B8 is offered with Alpina Classic documentation, a clean Carfax report, and Saskatchewan registration. The exterior is finished in BMW Individual Blue II Metallic ( ) and features gold Alpina graphics, a front air dam, rear spoiler, and B8 badging. A paint chip is noted on the right side of the front bumper under the rub strip. 17″ Alpina wheels are wrapped in Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires that are said to have been recently installed and measure 225/40 up front and 245/40 in the rear. Bilstein shocks are fitted and braking is handled by four wheel discs. The cabin is equipped with manually-adjustable sport seats trimmed in patterned graphite cloth, as well as an Alpina-branded steering wheel, shift knob, and floor mats. Additional amenities include a sunroof, air conditioning, cruise control, a North American BMW AM/FM/cassette head unit, and power accessories. The seller states the headliner was recently replaced. A plaque above the glovebox describes the car as “BMW/Alpina B8 4.0 0003.” Alpina-branded instrumentation includes a 300-km/h speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges monitoring fuel efficiency, temperature, and fuel level. Just under 65k kilometers (~40k miles) are shown on the digital odometer, approximately 22k of which were added by the seller. The Alpina-modified M60 4.0-liter V8 was rated at 313 horsepower when new, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a 2.93:1 ratio limited-slip differential. The seller states that the spark plugs and timing chain tensioner have been replaced, the fluids were changed, and a tune-up was performed. Additional photos of the underbody are viewable below. The Alpina order sheet lists a build date of September 15, 1995 and shows initial delivery to Nicole Racing Japan Co. Ltd., as well as the original options and colors.
