This 2000 BMW 740iL was sold new in California and remained with its first owner until the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2021. Power is provided by a 4.4L V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, and the car is finished in black over black leather. Features include 18″ Style 37 wheels, a sunroof, power-adjustable seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear footrests, and an onboard computer with a central display. This E38 shows 159k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean Carfax report and a clean California title. The car is finished in black and features chrome accent moldings, a sunroof, and front fog lights. The selling dealer states that the passenger-side of the vehicle was repainted under previous ownership, and rock chips are noted on the front end along with scuffs on the front and rear bumpers. Polished 18″ Style 37 wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires, which measure 235/50 up front and 255/45 out back. Disc brakes are equipped at all four corners, and the rear pads and rotors were replaced in 2018. The interior features seats upholstered in black leather with wood trim on the dashboard, doors, and center console.
