Chassis: WBABB1303LEC01337. 129k Miles. 2.5L Inline-Six. 5-Speed Manual. New Belts and Water Pump, 2017. R134 Converted A/C. Recent Valve Adjustment. Original Top. Private Party or Dealer: Private Party
This 1990 BMW 325i Convertible is a 5-speed manual example that is equipped with a 2.5L inline-six. The seller fitted a set of Borbet Type C alloy wheels in place of the original bottlecap wheels, and had the valve cover and intake manifold professionally powdercoated. The seller performed a major service over the winter of 2016-2017, which included all new belts, a new water pump, new alternator, new starter and more detailed below. The A/C was converted to R134, and all power features are said to work properly. This 325i is sold with the original wheels and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name. This E30 is believed to retain mostly-original paint, save for the right front fender which was the subject of a minor fender-bender during the previous owner’s time with the car. The fender was reportedly repaired without being removed, and the seller states that the VIN tag and seam sealer are intact, and the bolts do not appear to have been disturbed. The top is original, though the seller fitted a new rear window with working defroster. The original headlights have been replaced with Hella-type units. The cabin is free of visible modifications, save for a period-correct HUSCO armrest and cupholder, features a crack-free dash. The original radio is still in place, and the seller had it rebuilt for full functionality. The A/C has been converted to R134 refrigerant and is said to blow cold. All interior features are said to work correctly, including the on-board computer and power features. The heated blue leather sport seats show light wear on the front seat bottoms, but the seller states that they are free of cracks, tears and separated seams. The rear seat has been recovered in correct German Indigo Blue leather. The odometer shows 129k miles. Power comes from a 2.5L inline-six mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The seller had the valve cover and intake blasted, powdercoated and the high spots fly-cut. A compression test performed by the seller showed about 150 psi across all six cylinders. Last winter, at 117k miles, the seller performed a major service which included the following: Photos of the underside of the car are provided, and show intact black undercoating. The front control arms have been replaced with updated units from an e36 3-series. The original books, manuals and warning triangle are included, as are the original Bottlecap wheels. The original tool kit is pictured in the gallery.
