Chassis: PG6SA-101596. 143k Kilometers (~89k Miles). Turbocharged 657cc Three-Cylinder. 5-Speed Manual. Siberia Blue and Venetian Gray. Volk TE-37 Wheels. Aftermarket Exhaust and Blow Off Valve. Imported to US Earlier This Year. Private Party or Dealer: Private Party
This 1992 Mazda AZ-1 is a Kei car that was manufactured by Suzuki and sold in Japan by Mazda under the Autozam brand. It features a mid-mounted 657cc turbocharged three-cylinder and a 5-speed manual transmission, and this example was imported to the United States by the seller earlier this year. Maintenance within the past two months consisted of new coolant lines, and HKS intake, and an oil change, while modifications include an aftermarket exhaust, blowoff valve, Momo steering wheel, and Volk TE-37 wheels. Finished in Siberia Blue and Venetian Gray with a matching interior, the car is equipped with a factory fog light front bumper, Mazdaspeed rear spoiler, and optional AZ1 sunshades. The car was given a Shaken Inspection before it was acquired by the seller, and all import documentation is included in the sale along with a clean Maryland title in the seller’s name. The front bumper with fog lights was a factory option, and factory sun shades are included with the car. A few rock chips are noted on the Siberia Blue and Venetian Gray paint along with a 1.5×1″ scuff on the driver-side corner of the rear bumper. The driver’s gullwing door is believed to have been repainted and shows some orange peel. An additional blemish is noted on the passenger-side front fender, though the seller states that this imperfection can likely be buffed out. All exterior decals and badging are present. 14″ Volk TE-37 wheels were added by a previous owner and are mounted with Goodyear Vector tires. The seats are trimmed in two-tone cloth with blue centers, and some wear is present on the driver’s bolster. A set of AZ-1 floormats can be seen in both footwells, and the seller states that the air conditioning is functional. A three-spoke Momo steering wheel has been installed, as has an aftermarket head unit with backup camera. All interior electrionics are reported to function as intended, and the odometer currently shows approximately 143k kilometers (~89k miles). Power comes from a mid-mounted 657cc turbocharged three-cylinder that originally delivered 63 horsepower at 8,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. New coolant hoses were installed earlier this year and the car was given an oil change in preparation for sale. The engine has been modified with an aftermarket exhaust and blow off valve, and a rear strut bar, lower brace, and upgraded wind vents have also been fitted. The optional AZ-1 sunshades are included in the sale along with the original owners manual, 2 keys, tire repair kit, radio remote, manuals, and all import documents. A start-up and two driving videos have been provided by the seller as seen below.
