This 1983 Alfa Romeo GTV6 spent several decades registered in Pennsylvania before coming to California, where it was acquired by the seller in May 2016. Power is from a 2.5-liter V6 driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, and additional equipment includes fog lights, inboard rear brakes, power windows, and an aftermarket stereo system. A repaint was carried out under current ownership along with replacement of the timing belt, braking components, tires, and other items. This GTV6 is offered at no reserve with partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The Giugiaro-penned bodywork was refinished in metallic black in December 2019 according to the seller, prior to which corrosion was reportedly addressed on a lower front fender. Details include gray side skirts, valance covers, and bumper trim in addition to fog lights mounted up front. 15″ Campagnolo alloy wheels wear Alfa Romeo center caps and Goodyear tires that are said to have been installed in May 2020. A matching spare wearing older Pirelli rubber is housed in the trunk. Braking is from discs all around, with the rears mounted inboard. The system was serviced with new rotors and pads in May 2020. The cabin offers room for four on brown vinyl seats separated by plastic center consoles. Black carpets cover the floors. An aftermarket Pioneer stereo is paired with Polk Audio speakers mounted in the doors and Kicker speakers in the rear side panels. A disconnected aftermarket alarm system is mounted to the underside of the dash. A three-spoke steering wheel frames Veglia main instrumentation and a Borg clock, while ancillary gauges are mounted above the center stack. The five-digit odometer reads approximately 46k miles, with actual mileage unknown. Cracks in the dash are visible in the gallery below, and the air conditioning system does not blow cold. The 2.5-liter V6 features Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection and was factory-rated at 154 horsepower. Service performed under current ownership by Barber’s Shop Auto of Sacramento, California is said to have included the following: Power is routed through a rear-mounted five-speed manual transaxle. A new clutch master cylinder sleeve is also said to have been fitted. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery below. The September 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists Pennsylvania and California registration between 1988 and 2019.
